Shipping Policy
At Shniff, we do our best to process and ship orders quickly while keeping every order packed safely and accurately.
Processing Times
Most orders ship same business day when placed before our daily shipping cutoff.
Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will typically ship the next business day.
During major launches, seasonal releases, large restocks, sales, holidays, or preorder periods, processing times may be slightly longer due to increased order volume.
Preorders
Preorder items ship according to the estimated timeframe listed on the product page at the time of purchase.
Preorder items are not split-shipped. If your order contains both preorder and in-stock items, the entire order will ship together once the preorder item is ready.
Shopify, Shop Pay, or other checkout apps may show estimated delivery dates that do not apply to preorder items. The preorder timeline listed by Shniff is the timeline to follow.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the shipping method selected, package weight, destination, and carrier rates.
Free shipping promotions, if available, will be applied according to the terms listed at the time of the promotion.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking by email or text, depending on the contact information provided at checkout.
Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear after the label has been created.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
Shniff is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address entered at checkout.
If you notice an address error, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to update it before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order is in processing or has been handed to the carrier.
If you use Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, or another accelerated checkout option, your saved address may autofill automatically. Please make sure the correct address is selected before completing your order.
Lost, Stolen, or Delivered Packages
Once a package leaves our warehouse, it is in the care of the shipping carrier.
Shniff is not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier but are missing, stolen, delivered to the wrong location, or delayed due to carrier issues.
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate your package, we recommend checking around your porch, mailbox, garage, side doors, parcel lockers, and with neighbors. You may also contact the carrier directly with your tracking number or file a missing package claim if needed.
While we are not responsible for delivered packages, please reach out if you need help locating tracking information.
Damaged or Leaking Items
If your order arrives damaged or leaking, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at shipping@shniffpetcare.com.
Please include your order number, photos of the damaged product, photos of the packaging, and a brief description of the issue.
We review damage claims on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit when appropriate.
Missing or Incorrect Items
If you believe an item is missing or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at shipping@shniffpetcare.com with your order number and a photo of the items received.
We will review the order and help make it right if an error occurred on our end.
Shipping Delays
Shipping carriers may experience delays due to weather, holidays, high package volume, natural disasters, incorrect addresses, or other events outside of our control.
Shniff is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has shipped, but we understand delays are frustrating and will always do our best to help where we can.
Returns Due to Failed Delivery
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or failure to pick up from the carrier, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs to resend the order.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
