Preparing the surface is the key to a good application. You only have one go, so make sure you are precise!
Flat surfaces work best, but slightly curved (like a car window) are fine! We have had success with water bottles, but it is a bit trickier and may not adhere as well or as long as other surfaces (especially if you plan to use it in a dishwasher).
Clean surface with soap and water. Dry completely and wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove dust and debris. You may use rubbing alcohol to remove oils and moisture. Decal will not stick if there is any moisture on the surface.
Place sticker on surface and rub from the center out to remove air bubbles (a credit card covered in cloth is handy for this)
*Optional* Use a heat gun or blow drier on the highest heat setting to soften the vinyl for a seamless application. Continue to gently rub out air bubbles with credit card, pressing edges down while vinyl is still warm. This step especially helps on highly curved surfaces.
Voila! You now have the cutest laptop, car, toolbox in the world.
