From grooming table to good clean fun
It Started With My Hypo Dog
Before Shniff was ever a business, it was me trying to solve a problem for one of my own groom clients. She had incredibly sensitive skin, and I struggled to find products that were both gentle and enjoyable to use. That search eventually led to me creating my first shampoo formula.
A Groomer's Wish List
After more than a decade grooming professionally, I knew exactly what I wanted in a product: gentle formulas, unforgettable fragrances, and products that made bath day something to look forward to. When I couldn't find them, I started creating them.
The First Batch
What started as late nights mixing small batches at my kitchen counter slowly grew into something bigger than I ever imagined. One order became ten, then hundreds, and today Shniff ships to thousands of groomers and pet parents all over the country.

Chelsea
I’m Chelsea, the founder of Shniff and the person behind the products, scents, designs and probably too many late-night ideas. I starting grooming in 2009. I started making the products I wished existed for my own clients, and somehow those apartment-kitchen batches grew into all of this.
Fun fact: I was born with almost no sense of smell. Surgery at age 10 changed that, which makes ending up in the fragrance business one of life's funniest plot twists.
Operations & Fulfillment
Corey
I’m Corey, the operations side of Shniff and the person keeping the warehouse, production and shipping moving. I handle the practical side of Chelsea’s ideas, solve the problems that pop up along the way, and make sure everything gets made, packed and out the door.
Fun fact: All animals seem to love him, seriously...ALL animals!
